This full-size loudspeaker is available separately or as a part of a complete 5.1 system. The Acoutsic Energy Linear 3 is a floorstanding speaker in a 3 Way configuration (hence its name) consisting of a 160mm LF driver which has a bass response down to 30Hz, a 1300mm mid range driver and Acoustic Energy’s textile dome/neodymium magnet tweeter which is used to give precise timbre matching. The cabinet is a bass reflex design with very high 91db/watt efficiency rating which will handle a maximum of 175 watts power input.

The Acoutsic Energy Linear 3 speakers really do look the business with a silver composite layer front panel that compliments the black 15mm MDF cabinet and at just over 3ft in height (905 x 242 x 270 mm) , they will take pride of place in any living room.

Unfortunately these speakers seem more suited to heavy dynamic weighty performances as they are not the most detailed speaker and therfore probably are more suited to home theater than top end hi-fi.
